Routes

Circular routes for Marathon/Half Marathon/10k.
All routes will be signed

All Hardmoors 26.2 series races will be taped and signed to help with navigation but in some situations signage and tape can go missing on the day of the event (whether it be accidental or deliberate) So competitors will be provided with a downloadable race route description and downloadable maps of the course which are to be used if tape and signs are not apparent. It is the competitors responsibility to navigate themselves throughout the course.

Parking

Osmotherley Village has no carparks just street parking. Osmotherley is a very popular venue for walkers and runners being on the Cleveland Way and also the start for the Lyke Wake walk, so parking is very very limited, never mind over 280 plus competitors for the Hardmoors 26.2 arriving on the day. I have arranged parking just outside the Village (same place as Osmotherley Phoenix/summer games) it is a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the Village Hall. Please use this parking as we are not allowed to park in the village.

The parking is situated at the Saw Mill on Clack lane, Clack Lane is the main road into Osmotherley. The Saw Mill is situated on the right hand side of the road while heading into Osmotherley. The Car park will be signed and visible from the road side.

Race Finish

On completing your event please report directly to the timings table inside (will be obvious) you will then receive your Race Medal. Hot drinks (Tea and Coffee) will also be available at the race finish plus food for all competitors.
The Village Hall is in the centre of Osmotherley and is opposite the 'Three Tuns' Pub, around the corner is a Chippie (unsure if it will be open so don't bank on it) and two more Pubs.

Sports Massage

Karen from Stadium Sports Massage will be providing sports massages for £10 throughout the day. With Karen's help (pre and post massage) I managed to complete 53 Ultramarathons in 2012 with no lasting damage, some weeks running 3 in a row. I truly recommend her services.

Ultra Runner Store

Tony from the ULTRA RUNNER STORE (Hardmoors Race Series Sponsor) will be attending. He will have a stand selling some of his products. Check his gear out here
